A giveaway

I am thinking about doing a give away in April for the Bloggy Carnival. I have questions: Have any of you ever done this? How successful was it for you? Would you be interested in my baby/kid paintings on Etsy as the giveaway item (check them out HERE). Also, which painting in particular do you think I should have as the item or should I let the readers choose one?
