Supplies needed:
Mod podge
white acrylic paint
rub n buff silver
wood letters
piece of wood ( I have a bunch of leftovers from our board and batten project)
scrapbook paper, 2 sheets
ribbon
decorative tacs
hot glue gun
First cut out the scrapbook paper to fit the wood board and mod podge it on:
Now paint all the letters in the white acrylic paint:
Now let it dry (don't worry acrylic paint drys pretty fast!). When dry sand down the edges a bit and rub on the rub n buff with your finger and buff it with a piece of cloth or paper towel:
When finished with all the letters, use your hot glue gun to adhere them to the board:
Now take a strip of ribbon and tie a bow at the top. Take the ends and put them on the back of the board, use tacs to hold them in place:
take the decorative tacs and put them on the sides of the board to dress them up a bit:
Now the finished product:
Loves it!! O.K. now i am a little motivated to start painting the room :)
