Personalizing is just what I needed

The post I did about framing fabric covered canvases is my second post ever. I think I had a whole 3 followers then, which included myself, my husband, and my mother (yes I follow my own blog, don't judge! I am my biggest fan). So, I doubt many of you have seen the post. If you haven't check it out HERE, if you are inclined to do so. If not, stick around and read this post. I felt like there was just something missing in this display:

I have seen these curvy shaped frames all over Pinterest. You know the ones I'm talking about? Well if not you can check them out on my Decor Board. I first just sketched out the shape I wanted and then folded the paper in half long way and short way, to make sure sides were equal.
 This was my template:
I then traced out my template on poster board I had from redoing my built ins with stencil last week
I then taped off the cut pieces and painted cream acrylic paint to make stripes

using the mounting squares, which are in the scrapbooking section at Hobby Lobby, I adhered photos to the cut outs:
I then whipped out my handy hot glue gun and attached them to each fabric covered canvas:

It now feels complete to me. I love it! Now everytime I go to my children's rooms I will smile at our beautiful pictures. This project cost me zero dollars. Don't you just love using stuff you have on hand!?!

BTW - I haven't painted my table yet. We were burnt out, but finishing all the painting this weekend. :)
