It's baby time!

No I'm not expecting, but I sure do have baby fever lately. Doesn't help that my sister is having twins (boy and girl) and my husbands cousin is having a girl. Then Pinterest isn't any help with those adorable photos that keep popping up. Sigh....So anyways I am all for personalized gifts. I love making stuff for people that I know no one else will have. It makes it special and fun. I made my sister her own one of a kind diaper bag, found HERE. Now I am making the twins coordinating outfits. I finished the girls dress today. Really easy to make. Chek out the tutorial at Made-by-Rae.

Do you love houndstooth as much as me!! Isn't it just swoon worthy with the hot pink?! I added a little tulle and felt flower, which can be taken off for washing. It's velcro! I am just brilliant (it's my blog I'll be brilliant if I want :) I also didn't apply the bias tape to the bottom of the skirt. Still debating if I should do that or a little tulle ruffle? What do you think? I didn't use piping either, just the bias tape. Then I did a decorative stitch across it as well. So it's a bit of a pattern remix, but I did use the pattern. Very cute! I will be using this pattern again. There are so many cute things you could do with this dress. Different trims, buttoms, ric rac, different fabrics on the top and bottom......you get the point. Creativity is endless!

Next up is a little baby boy outfit to match. It is going to be so cute! I'm loving it! Stick around to see what I make for my husbands cousins baby too. I just love creating :) Don't you!?!

I love houndstooth! It will never be out of fashion :) I have a houndstooth coat that I'm super excited to wear this coming winter. This dress is sooo stinkin' cute! Ugh, seeing things like this makes me want a little girl so bad! Can't wait to see the matching boy's outfit. Ahh your sis is so lucky to be having a boy and a girl at the same time.
