My board and batten reveal!! Finally

I am so excited about this post. This has been almost a three week project and lets just say I considered renting a hotel room to get away from the disaster that was my house (haha! Just joking, but really it was super hard for me to see everything so out of place).

 This whole project started when I told my husband that I would love board and batten in our study for a Valentines day present ( By the way my husband has never done any kind of wood working in his life, in fact he isn't really the "project" kind of guy). To my surprise he totally agreed to this request! This handsome man right here wins the award for the best husband of the year:

I love those boys! So any who, through blood (well not really blood, but does getting electrocuted three times count?) sweat, and tears (mainly my tears, from him scaring the crap out of me getting electrocuted and the house being in shambles) the study is finally finished. My husband really put his all into this project and I am in love with his talent and intelligence. I really think this project has giving me a whole new respect for my husband. I can't believe how hard he worked to put a smile on my face :) OK so enough of the mushy stuff on with the goods:

 GORGEOUS!!! I am so happy with this room. I will be spending most of my day in it today just enjoying the new scenery! I still have some decorative touches to add to it, but ahhhhhh It feels so good to have it put together again. A big thank you to my perfect hardworking husband! I love you!!
